the duck bonanza!

Duce and Jett tagged along with Go-dad, Uncle Sam and little Austin to go pick out some new, cool ducks to put in Go-dad's pond. From what I hear, Duce did ok with the whole thing, but Jett was terrified of the other poultry at the farm. I think it all stems back to the killer black mexican rooster my parents had a few years ago...that thing attcked anyone who came near...including little kids.

13 Days and counting

So it is about this time that we start making a compliation of everyone's guesses as to what the baby will be.....we didn't find out whether it was a boy or a girl, so we want your guesses. Each of our kids (except Duce...we knew he was a boy) has a page in their baby book with everyone's name and their guess- boy or girl and the guess on weight and height so lets hear it!

Avery obviously wants a girl and she wants to name her cinderella....poor thing is going to be disappointed either way. The boys are rooting for a boy.....to out number us girls....its all about competition for them. Josie doesn't care either, just as long as she doesn't have to give up her port-a-crib...yup thats right. She sleeps in a port-a crib.....screams bloody murder when put in ther crib, so what do I care.... she sleeps like a dream in the other, so there you go.

I don't care one way or the other, just as long as I'm not pregnant anymore. Tyler says he doesn't mind, but what man REALLY doesn't hope for a boy each time. Like I mentioned earlier....13 days, 1 hour and 6 minutes until I check into the hospital....what I wouldn't give right now for some stadol or demerol!

18 days and counting

So I had a doctors appointment today. I am 36 weeks in three days and already I am dialated a "fingertip" Good news, since that means I will be "ready to go" says the doctor, when I go into the hospital in exactly 18 days and 1 hour and forty-five minutes. Other good news is I only gained 1 pound since my last appointment....much better than the nearly 10 pounds the previous appointment. The doctor said it had to be water....yup...keep saying that....just water. I feel like a reverse version of "the biggest loser" (for those of you who watch it...I LOVE it) I get on the scale and prayer for little numbers....today was little.

TWENTY DAYS AND COUNTING!

So for those of you who don't know, my body HATES me! My doctor said 5 pregnancies in less than 7 years...of course it hates me!! My official due date is Feb. 17th, but I have BIG babies, so I've been induced early everytime. And thank heavens, this time is like all the rest. There is light at the end of the tunnel. There is an end in sight. I am scheduled to go into the hospital on Monday FEB 4th at 10 PM!!! So instead of five weeks of back breaking, mind-numbing pain, its only three weeks of hobbling like a 117 year old woman. Anf only three more weeks of weight gain as oppesed to five. Thats good, right? The one thing that is better with this pregnancy than all the rest is heartburn.....its sort of been a non issue this time. All the rest, I had to sleep almost sitting up to avoid it....so yeah for one thing!

FISHING

With school being out, we have had plenty of time to spend together as a family. School teachers don't get paid much, but they have great holidays. The boys have especially loved having their dad home to go fishing with them.

We love Florida Winter Weather!

It has been in the 80's for the last couple of days and the kids have LOVED it! We've gone for bike rides and swimming and fishing in the lake and swimming and plaing outside and swimming! so much swimming that poor jett now has "swimmer's ear" and has to go to the doctor tomorrow for antibiotics. Gotta love florida life!

The kids had a wonderful Christmas. They each got new bikes and skooter. Avery got Hannah Montana stuff galore....like her wig. Josie got dress up clothes and babies. And the boys love their skateboards. Tlyer got me an armoir for our computer and I got him a flight home to see his family!

Dad and Mom's Christmas party

Dad and mom finally can resume their annual christmas shindig! And what an elaborate affair it was! The food was delicious...the decorations amazing and the company superb!

talk about you little miss priss!

Avery loves her heels....this picture was taken just a couple of days ago...we have had wonderfully warm weather lately and the kids have been taking advantage of it!
