We are going to Ohio for the weekend to visit the Ward family. There is SNOW there! Since the kids have spent most of their lives in FLORIDA, we have NO snow clothes. I found these pink outfits at Goodwill for $2! Not bad. The boys got some use out of them, too!

FHE Goals

Last night for FHE, we went over some family goals for 2009. Here is a sampling of what we all are working on....

Be more active in PE-Duce (when I asked him what he meant, he said that he wants to be able to do jumping jacks the FASTEST of anyone else)

Learn all my friends names-Avery (she started a new preschool this month and doesn't know everyone's name)

Make a new and updates master list of all our food storage...and start to actually ROTATE it!-Erika

There are more.....much more....lots to improve on!

"munns" girls....how can we incooperate this into out next family gathering...I LOVE it! I would especially love to have our husbands do it!

CHRISTMAS 2008

Instead of boring the masses with all the bazillion pictures that were taken on Christmas, I will just post a few!

As most of you know, we spent Christmas in Florida with my family. It was one big SLEEPOVER,with most of us sleeping at mom and dad's house Christmas Eve. And my mom couldn't resist...she had to get us all matching jammies. Old Navy clearance sale from last year was a huge success...she's been hanging on to these all that time.

And of course I had to put of picture of Tee on, since this was his FIRST CHRISTMAS!

MAGNIFICENT MUNNS REUNION

This is just a fraction of what went on at our reunion this year!

These 4 days were jam packed full of lifetime memory making moments! I know people say that they have the best family...but come on now....I really don't think it could be better than us....maybe as good as...but not better. Munns know how to have a good time!

We had it all - - FIREWORKS - - JUMPHOUSE (which the grownup girls enjoyed RIDICULOUSLY!) - - -HORSEBACK RIDING - - COW ROPING - -OBSTACLE COURSES - - OLYMPICS, with events such as shotput, softball throw, longjump, skeet shooting, football throw, nail hammering, etc - -SWIMMING - - FISHING COMPETITION - -TALENT SHOW, where I busted out my Britney Spears Womanizer lipsync routine - -SERVICE PROJECT - - and not mention, all the wonderful food and snacks and dessert....munns love a good food spread!

These pictures were taken just moments before one of dad's donkey jacks came barrelling across one of his pastures and spooked Calvin's horse. We were bareback, so he had nothing to hold on to and he bounced off!

My dad wanted to have his cows "preg tested" so he bought some shoulder length gloves and after a short demonstration as to what to "feel for", all the men in the fam had a go at it. For their dignity, I won't post the pictures of my husband and brothers elbow deep into a poor unsuspecting heifer....just know I have great blackmail material!

yup...I am....

....out of my mind. My dad was telling me "be strong...you don't need to get a dog right away". And MOST of my agreed with him. But in a weak moment, I caved. And Boss, the boxer came home with us.

(I'm already second guesses this.....I just need to channel my inner cesar millan and make Boss the most even tempered, calm, submissive dog that ever lived)

Am I out of my mind?

We just got back from looking at puppies...am I out of my mind to get another dog so soon....someone please talk some sense into me before I am persuaded by my husband and kids!

Collin And Christine

FINALLY...the last ranier munns child has been married off! On Saturday, December 13th 2008, Collin and Christine tied the knot lakeside at my parents ranch in Florida. It was as beautiful as an outdoor wedding gets! Avery was the flower girl, a title she is obsessed with. Jett was the understudy to the ring bearer (3 year old Austin) so when he stepped down, Jett proudly took on the position! It was a great party and as always, my parents threw a DYNAMITE party! The food was great, the outfits were great, the company was great, the entertainment was great! We adore Christine and are so happy she is officially Aunt Christine...even though my kids have been calling her that for quite some time now! The never ending struggle to get a good family picture!
