The Southern Virginia University Knights had a game in neighboring town of Lexington. The game was amazing...the kind that keeps you on your feet. We moved the ball nicely, but for every foot forward, the penalties drove us back two! With six minute left, we were up 28-21...but a kick off returned for a touchdown tied it and then antoehr bad play gave the Generals another touchdown. We lost 35-28! Totally bummer! (dad jokingly said that if they keep losing, he's not coming up anymore!)
The games are always mroe enjoyable when you have family in town to watch with you. We were SO happy to have Uncle Daniel and Go-dad come up for the game!
